"We attended the Cat Power show at the Hard Rock Atlantic City on Sat Oct 27, 2026 for an 8pm show, and to say there was no opening act. Needless to say, Cat Power didn't take the stage until 10 PM, and played for exactly 1 hour before exiting the stage at 11 PM. The fans were angry and booing before Cat Power came out, and she was good and ready at 10 PM. I've been to nearly 1000 rock shows, and never had to wait for a show to start for 2 hours from the start time. It was my first show at the Hard Rock since it was the Trump Taj Mahal, and now I question if I'll ever go to see a show there again. Not sure if this is Ticketmaster's problem or the Hard Rock's, but the easiest way to avoid this issue is to avoid going there again. Buyer Beware of shows at the Hard Rock, it's not worth planning your weekend around a night of music and gambling in Atlantic City when you are sitting idle in a seat for 2 hours awaiting what you planned for. To me, not going to happen again."
